Construction Project Manager

About the Role
* Oversee projects from start to finish, including design, construction, and handover.
* Manage and update internal systems to track project progress and tasks.
* Prepare and manage documentation for tendering and negotiation of works.
* Appoint and manage external consultants, planners, and contractors.
* Report on quality and specification achieved on site.
* Manage pre-start and ongoing review meetings with contractors.
* Ensure the build handover schedule is up to date and manage the handover of units.
* Work with the Principal Designer to issue pre-construction information and review/approve plans.
* Assist with financial budget processes and ensure data within the cost database is maintained.
* Manage variations from the scope of works and validate main contractor applications for payment.
* Ensure project presentation is of high standard pre-launch and throughout the sales process.
* Liaise with sales and marketing teams on design and specification.
* Implement the health and safety policy and ensure practices and procedures are followed.
Requirements
* Experience as a Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
* Experience and passion for varied refurbishment projects, ideally in the residential sector.
* Construction or real estate degree or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience using project management software and/or databases to run projects.
* Comfortable with financial management, budgeting, and managing variations through projects.
* Competent in preparation and management of specification and contractual documentation.
* Proven organisation and communication skills.
* Adaptable, focused on personal development, and team orientated.
* Regular travel across England and Wales, with a full driving licence.

* Salary: £55-60,000 per annum.
