A globally renowned and market-leading technology OEM are looking to hire aTechnical Support Engineerto join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Fareham. The primary focus of this customer-facing role is to efficiently and effectively resolve product-related enquiries. Key responsibilities include: Proving first and second line support in relation to telephone enquiries associated with an exciting range of electronicproducts. This will involve resolving hardware, software and networking faults Escalating faults, symptoms, and potential resolutions to relevant technical teams for formal resolution, as appropriate. Running product training sessions for 3rdparty resellers and distributers both on site and on webinars SupportingR&Dengineering teams with technicalfeedbackto driveproductimprovements. To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven experience in a customer-facing role andsome experience in electrical,electronic, or hardwarerepair and diagnostics. In addition, it would be advantageous to hold a technical qualification in engineering,IT, or related discipline.
