Salary: £40,385 per annum Location: Winsford A Day in the Life of a Registered Manager As the Registered Manager of Chapel & Crook, you're at the helm of day-to-day operations, ensuring an industry-leading standard in our services. Your role is central to promoting an environment of person-centred care across both homes, each with their own CQC registration, where prioritising the people we support is key. Your responsibilities encompass ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining a safe, effective, and caring environment aligned with organisational strategies. Your financial acumen and organisational skills are crucial in resource management. Effective communication with all stakeholders, including people we support, colleagues, families, and commissioners, is a vital part of your role. Proficiency in technology is essential for managing various aspects like report preparation, rostering, and care plan reviews. As a driver of change, you'll be pivotal in advancing WCL strategies and rejuvenating the service, with a commitment to maintaining or improving our CQC rating. You'll also empower our team through access to a broad spectrum of clinical skill learning and development opportunities, including arranging external competency assessments. You will be supported in your role by a Clinical Lead post who will be responsible for nurse-related activities. About Chapel House & Crook Chapel House, set in a former school building, offers a cosy, ten-bed home with a lively lounge and well-furnished bedrooms, each customisable for a personal touch. The home features five bathrooms, catering to diverse needs with both rise and fall baths and shower/wet rooms. The highlight is a private garden with a summer house and a versatile sensory room that doubles as a cinema. We provide 24-hour nursing care, respite, and day care services, alongside nutritious, home-cooked meals and on-site laundry. Crook in Winsford, a transformation from a warehouse and community chapel into a six-bed home, is designed for those with complex health needs. Its wheelchair-friendly entrance leads to a bright lounge and dining area, opening onto a private garden with a summer house. The bedrooms are spacious and adaptable, complemented by three versatile bathrooms. Residents enjoy the same level of care and facilities as Chapel House, including the shared use of certain amenities, ensuring a comprehensive and nurturing environment.
