This will require a high level of automation and repeatable component design patterns to allow the deployment of customer business solutions within short time frames. The project will make heavy use of Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform and Scripting supported by more niche infrastructure and applications. We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer, with expertise in Cisco hardware switches and BIG IP F5 Load Balancers, to work closely with our Virtualisation Network Engineer in our hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skills within a scalable environment and demonstrate the ability to design, implement, and maintain identity access. This role will based 5 days week on site in Farnborough based office. Due to the nature of the work involved there is no scope for this to be a hybrid role and all applicants must be eligible for SC & DV clearance. What you'll be doing: Design, implement, and maintain network architectures and solutions using Cisco and BIG IP F5 technologies within hyperconverged infrastructure environments. Lead the deployment and configuration of Cisco components, including logical networking, and load balancers. Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to make sure network infrastructures can support current and future growth requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, change records, and operational procedures.
