What will you be doing?
* Producing monthly accounts for overhead cost centres.
* Assisting in the preparation of cost centre budgets and forecasts.
* Reconciling and processing prepayments, accruals, and standard charges.
* Managing company-paid credit cards.
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
* Completing national statistics returns.
* Overseeing and assisting with bank account reconciliations.
* Ensuring year-end schedules for tax packs are completed monthly.
* Reconciling PSA to ensure correct calculation and submissions to HMRC.
* Reconciling inter-company accounts monthly with other group companies.
* Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
* Processing ad hoc payment requests.
* Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs.
* Processing intercompany journals.
* Replenishing and reconciling petty cash.
* Managing fixed asset control accounts and preparing management reports.
* Managing capital approval processes, ensuring compliance with policies.
What skills are we looking for?
* Studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficient in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs and PivotTables).
* Experience in a similar role with balance sheet reconciliations.
