M Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Support Service Lead to work for a rewarding Charity who provide practical help and personalised support through their education, housing, justice and health and wellbeing services. You will act as a Service Lead leading a team of up to 9 Housing Management Support Workers covering 25 - 150 units, who are providing housing and support services to a number of service users who are either involved within the criminal justice system, suffering Mental health, substance misuse and those excluded from mainstream housing integrating back into society. The team will offer housing support service for vulnerable service users as well as offering person centred support ensuring service users build confidence and independence. Other responsibilities will include: Operational management of the service to ensure delivery in line with contractual requirements Effectively lead and deliver services which comply with the regulatory framework Manage service user spaces across the North East Ensuring your staff team understand and meet the agreed financial standards on voids, arrears and re-lets. Ensure service users have a positive experience Line management of team of housing management support workers Ensure properties meet health and safety requirements Ensuring safeguarding and risk management is a key part of our support work and that any safeguarding alerts and/or incidents are safely managed. Be the accountable Safeguarding lead for the service. Working with the central Asset Management Team to ensure all aspects of property management are effectively delivered including: Management of maintenance issues, adherence to health and safety requirements, property standards and compliance and liaison with landlords. Ensure safety plans are in place Engage with a range of external agencies The ideal candidate will have some previous housing or support work experience and has a passion for supporting and helping others.
