Description Copywriter - Internal Communications Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term until 31 December 2025 Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 GBP / €46,000 - €50,000 EUR per annum (depending on experience) Location: IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centre, Cardiff or The Hague Hybrid working opportunity (working from the office at least once per week) About the Job This role will be a central point for all internal communications work and will oversee the editorial workflows and quality assurance processes of all content presented on the organization’s various internal channels. The copywriter will work to create written content in line with audiences and strategy. This role works closely with key stakeholders within the organisation, to deliver relevant and engaging content, and achieve the organization’s business goals. Key Responsibilities Copy Writes copy for projects as assigned, including projects related to communications, print, publications, video scripts, websites and social media posts. Writing clear, consistent and error-free content guarding the organizational narrative that reflects the IBs’ mission. Develops copy concepts in an engaging way for stakeholders and carries out projects once they are approved. Content Manages and produces content tailored to channels and audiences. Works with internal customers to develop and advise on appropriate intranet content for specific target audiences. Manages an internal communications calendar for managing work distribution and priorities. Brand Governance Ensures a consistent tone of voice across all internal content. Ensures copy design and messaging is on brand and guidelines are adhered to. Project Management Ensures organization-wide projects are handled successfully, and organized to involve and leverage relevant internal stakeholders. Ensures consistency in process and attention to detail across various team stakeholders. About You Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Psychology, or Communications. Experience with employee communications or internal communications. Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Proven project management skills, including ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organizational team. Experience liaising and working directly with multiple stakeholders. Business fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an advantage. Experience with change management is desirable. Experience in education or non-profit sector desired but not required.
