As a Technical Support Engineer (2nd line Windows 0365) based in Normanton on Soar, you will support day-to-day activities on clients' IT networks with a focus on assisting with new server and network projects, including designing and installing new networks from scratch through to deploying additional servers. You will respond to support requests from fully managed clients, ensuring strict SLAs are met while providing pro-active monitoring and support.
About You
You are an experienced Technical Support Engineer with strong knowledge in:
1. Microsoft Windows Server
2. Active Directory
3. DNS
4. Group Policy
5. Microsoft Windows Desktop (Windows 10/11)
6. Office 365
7. Networking (ideally Cisco)
8. Firewalls
9. Switches
10. Virtualisation using Hyper-V
You possess great communication skills and are comfortable working directly with clients.
