Framework is opening a brand-new, purpose-built accommodation service for women facing severe multiple disadvantage in Nottingham City. Accommodation will consist of 15 self-contained flats in NG5, including 2 adapted flats with disabled access. There will also be a training room, residents laundry room and garden area for the residents to use. This is a brand-new service and there will be an emphasis on trying new and innovative approaches in terms of engaging, supporting and helping residents to fulfil their full potential. We are looking to recruit 1 full time Team Leader for the service. You will be working alongside a team of Support Workers and a Support Planner. We are looking for the following: Experience of working in supported accommodation projects. Following policies procedures such as LAPs, RAR, compiling rotas. Supervising staff. Supporting staff to deliver change and adapt to new ways of working. Whilst experience of working supported accommodation projects is advantageous, it is vital that applicants are able to demonstrate the correct values, and a good understanding of: The issues affecting women experiencing severe and multiple disadvantage Their support needs and how best to meet them in ways that work for the residents Trauma and psychologically informed approaches Working in a way that celebrates innovation and partnership working Service user consultation and involvement Due to the sensitive location of the project, experience of managing relationships with neighbours and local agencies would also be highly advantageous. Duties and responsibilities: To assist the Service Manager in managing the service so it achieves and maintains satisfactory performance and meets contractual requirements. To induct, supervise, develop, motivate, lead and appraise staff within the service. Be open to implementing new ideas and have a commitment to the ongoing development of the service. A willingness to work positively with risk. To ensure the service is managed safely and policies and procedures are followed. To ensure that all support plans and risk assessments are completed in line with established timescales and meet the required quality standards. To be involved in promoting the service. Be involved in the recruitment of staff with the assistance of the Service Manager. To support the Service Manager to respond to complaints in an appropriate timeframe and follow relevant procedures. To carry out domestic tasks around the service to maintain the health and hygiene of the physical environment. To understand and actively promote the organisations values (Respond/Respect/Empower).
