£14.00 - £16.00 Per hour
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality teaching to students. This includes assisting with lesson planning, preparing teaching materials, and providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help. The role also involves helping to maintain a positive learning environment, managing behaviour, and contributing to the assessment of student progress.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Enhanced DBS check
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Proficiency in supporting students with special educational needs
• Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will primarily work within a school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours. The role may involve some flexibility in working hours to accommodate school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
