The role
will focus on working closely with the General Manager to help them make the right decisions to steer strategy and aid financial growth. Having said that, this is a very hands-on role and needs someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
2. Preparation of the monthly board pack including variance analysis and narrative/commentary
3. Responsible for debt collection
4. Preparation of annual projections (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow)
5. Monthly updates to provide re-forecast
6. Working with departmental managers to support their understanding of financial performance
7. Preparation of VAT returns
8. Accounts payable and accounts receivable

In terms of qualifications, we can consider qualified or qualified by experience candidates. Experience in most of the areas above is important, and we would be looking for a good level of IT skills, in particular Excel.
