Vacancy: Quality Manager Location: Yeovil, Somerset Salary: £35k-£45k DOE JHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join our packaging distribution client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading a Quality department in conducting internal and external audits, supporting Quality Technicians in their roles, and communicating with management and other teams to ensure compliant delivery of goods. Main Accountabilities: Assist in the managing of the Quality department effectively, ensuring the highest standards of goods are imported and exported at all times by monitoring internal and external processes Lead compliance meetings, addressing all actions and ensuring they are completed in accordance with timescales Be a BRCGS, ISO9001, ISO14001 and FSC internal auditor, and lead the audit team in conducting all internal and external audits in accordance with the yearly schedule Be responsible for planning, scheduling and delivering regular hygiene and quality audits Respond to any customer quality complaints and queries Continuously update and maintain a detailed Quality Management System Required Skills & Experience: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external teams Qualified in conducting internal ISO, FSC, and BRCGS audits Effective problem solving and logical decision-making ability Great understanding of quality procedures and processes Experience in a similar role within a packaging company is desirable If you think this could be the perfect role for you, please apply here or contact Tasha at JHP Recruitment.
