Job Description Summary GE HealthCare's Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) division develops innovative molecular imaging agents and contrast media to enable precision medicine and a future where healthcare has no limits. We have several internship openings related to advanced medical image analysis methods and linking them to clinically relevant outcomes across our products for neurology, cardiology and oncology. The projects may involve kinetic analysis and modelling of 4D time series image data, prototyping, testing and validating image analysis pipelines, radiomics, development of AI methods for semi-automated image segmentation and/or taking part in voice-of-customer meetings to align tool development with clinical needs. It is anticipated that conference abstracts and/or publications will result from these projects. This position is an internship for one year. Job Description Essential responsibilities: - Working independently on specialist imaging software and with scientific computing environments - Performing kinetic analysis of PET or MRI time series image data using commercial software - Generating scientific code (e.g., Matlab or Python scripts) to prototype and test novel image analysis methods - Performing spatial and region-of-interest analysis of PET or MRI image data - Training, testing and validation of quantitative image endpoints - Curating a multivariate database including images, derived image data and clinical variables - Performing statistical analyses Qualifications/requirements: - A relevant technical degree (e.g., engineering, data science, medical imaging) at bachelor, master's or doctoral level - Knowledge of medical imaging (e.g., MRI, CT and/or PET) - Prior experience with scripting and scientific computing software (e.g., Matlab, Python) - Experience with specialized medical image analysis software would be of considerable value - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills If you are interested in learning more we are looking forward to your online-application Don't meet all the requirements?
