Job summary Dr Stocks & Partners is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientated Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly and expanding team. Main duties of the job You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to improve the quality and safety of care. You will have regular contact with patients helping to reduce the workload of GPs. The role includes development of practice teams to increase effective pharmacy administration within general practice, especially in relation to repeat prescribing processes including promotion of online ordering, minimising clinical risk and aiming to reduce wasted medicines. Core role and responsibilities will cover clinical, technical and administrative categories, working under supervision to ensure effective and efficient use of medicines. Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use through shared decision-making conversations with patients.
