Job Description Facilities Assistant Northampton Up to £24k DOE Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm We are working with a recognised employer in the legal industry, who are looking for a detail orientated and proactive facilities assistant to join their team in Northampton. You will be responsible for assisting with the daily commercial operations, working closely with their facilities and health and safety manager. Key Duties: Purchasing inventory, stock and office furniture as required in line with budget. Providing ad-hoc cover on Reception; answering phones, emails, greeting clients and helping staff with queries Taking responsibility to ensure general office maintenance Setting up meeting rooms/ seminars with the correct equipment Adhering to brand standards Provide cover for front of house assistance, including reception duties, answering calls via a switchboard, meeting and greeting clients and contractors and, assisting colleagues with enquiries Ensuring the office is compliant with legaslative requirements Complying with company compliance procedures for the safe keeping of documents and files The Ideal Candidate: IT Literate in Microsoft aplications such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Organised, with the ability to manage workload Strong communication skills both written and verbal Excellent collaboration skills to develop relationships with colleagues and external service providers Ability to analyse information and present it simply and accurately Strong attention to detail
