Apprentice Administrator 2025

What will you be doing?
When you join us as an apprentice, you will complete an apprenticeship course relevant to the role, tailored to your current education level. At the end of the programme, you will gain a qualification in this field as well as learning practical skills and hands-on experience.
This position requires a pro-active individual ready to assist with various administrative tasks, maintain an orderly environment, and provide support to both staff and visitors. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Provide reception support, including answering phones, taking messages, and assisting staff and visitors.
* Sign in visitors and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers efficiently.
* Assist with various administrative tasks to support office operations, such as typing, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents.
* Arrange travel and accommodations as needed for staff and management.
* Schedule and book meetings and training sessions.
* Arrange refreshments for meetings/events.
* Maintain and update the company's databases, including active project lists.
* Provide coverage for staff during holidays to ensure uninterrupted office operations.
* Ensure the office environment is clean and organized.
* Check photocopiers for paper levels, toner, and error messages.
* Ensure welfare and office refreshments are available to staff.
* Conduct weekly Legionella checks and fire alarm tests.
* Regularly check and maintain the First Aid Box and Emergency Lights.
This role is available for a September 2025 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit you and the business.
As part of the apprenticeship programme, you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future.

What are we looking for?

To qualify for the apprenticeship study requirements, you must have eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.
