Our client is currently looking for X 2 General Workshop Operatives whoreliable and hard-working to join their manufacturing team in Solihull. You will be working in a busy workshop that manufactures conveyor systems and structural steelwork. No prior experience required just a good work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions. This is a fantastic organisation and working environment where they put people first and reward a good work ethic and invest in their workforce. It would be a great environment for someone who is early in their career and looking to make the next step or someone who is more established. The role is on-going due to extra work but could become permanent dependent on the person and the continued work opportunity. Key Responsibilities Painting steel beams and equipment by hand Carrying out general workshop duties as instructed Keeping the work area clean and tidy (general housekeeping) Supporting the team in manual handling and preparation of steelwork Adapting to daily priorities and tasks as required Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment Essential Skills & Attributes Willingness and ability to follow instructions Good team player with a flexible, hands-on approach Able to prioritise tasks effectively Physically fit for workshop duties Positive attitude towards health & safety Desirable Experience operating an overhead crane (5-tonne) Perks & Benefits: Free tea & coffee Free on-site parking Supportive workshop environment Potential for long-term work based on performance Pay - National Minimum Wage (£12.21/hr age adjusted) Hours of work - 7.30am - 4.30pm (Monday - Friday) If this sounds like you, please get in touch asap.
