HR Officer My client is a leading and family operated distribution company who are currently seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their team based in Coleraine. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week). With a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum. Job Purpose: You will be responsible for providing HR Generalist support across the business, this will include managing and supporting investigation, disciplinary & grievance case work, delivering corporate induction and HR training, recruitment tasks (end-to-end process) and providing advice and guidance in all HR related matters in line with employment legislation and best practice. Essential Criteria: CIPD Qualified or working towards CIPD qualification. 1 year in a HR Administration or Officer/Generalist role is preferred. Experience of end-to-end recruitment. Demonstrable experience/knowledge of investigation/disciplinary meetings. Strong IT skills with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong presentation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Ability to manage and prioritise workload, while adhering to deadlines. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Criteria: Sage experience & knowledge. Experience of PAMS HR system. Employment law knowledge of NI, Scotland and ROI. Experience using SAGE for payroll. Degree in Human Resource Management or a related degree. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Play a key role in driving the business HR Strategy across the group Conduct investigation/disciplinary & grievance meetings & all associated case work Advise and provide support to Managers, Supervisors & Employees Prepare letters and documents for employees & employee relation case work Ensure all HR records are updated and maintained Create and provide HR data analysis and reporting Co-ordinate internal & external training Support absence management across the group Support Performance Management initiatives both high performance and low performance Lead & drive Employee Engagement and Wellbeing initiatives across the group Overseeing end-to-end recruitment process Responsible for processing weekly payroll from the wage's reports ensuring data is correct Skills: HR Officer HR Human Resources Permanent Coleraine
