We are looking for a salaried GP to recruit, working 4-6 sessions per week. Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the PMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. Two GP partners are supported by brilliant team of clinical and administrative staff who enable us to deliver effective patient care. We are part of Washington PCN and have access to very supportive team of Social prescribers, Mental health practitioners and clinical pharmacists as part of our PCN. We consult using EMIS web system. GP home visits are conducted as required for care home and palliative patients. Additional Duties General admin including referrals, correspondence, lab results, prescriptions, and document processing. One duty doctor session per week, dealing with on the day requests, queries and emergencies and working with our care coordinators. Attendance at clinical meetings. Accredited as a member of the Royal College Of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or have 2 yrs experience as a full time GP with a demonstrable commitment to quality practice.
