What you’ll do
At Vodafone, we’re not just about connecting people – we’re about building trust, fostering innovation, and shaping a future where compliance drives value. As a Cable Systems Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our submarine and terrestrial cable systems, working on a high-impact, multi-party international consortium project.
* Lead compliance management – Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance programme to mitigate financial crime and integrity risks.
* Engage with stakeholders – Collaborate with internal and external partners, including project Compliance Working Groups, to assess risks and implement mitigating actions.
* Oversee third-party risk – Conduct due diligence, monitor compliance obligations, and ensure adherence to anti-bribery, AML, sanctions, and trade control regulations.
* Drive training and awareness – Design and deliver compliance training programmes to employees and third parties.
* Monitor and assure compliance – Conduct audits, manage external assurance activities, and oversee transaction monitoring related to Vodafone’s cable systems projects.
Who you are
* A compliance expert with 3+ years’ experience in a compliance role, ideally with knowledge of anti-corruption laws like the UK Bribery Act and FCPA.
* Experienced in risk management, compliance frameworks, and ethical decision-making.
* A strong communicator who can influence and build relationships across teams and external partners.
* Exceptionally organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
* Ideally, holds a Compliance & Ethics qualification (ICA, SCCE – desirable).
