Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 December 2025. Applications are invited for a Research Assistant or Research Associate (PostDoc) to join the Core Lab in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, UK. You will work together with a team of students, postdocs, and collaborators. We will work on developing digital world models for agritech applications. This involves using techniques from machine learning, 3D modeling, robotics, and plant-specific knowledge. The successful applicant will possess or soon obtain a Ph.D. in computer science in topics relating to AI and brain-computer interfaces. Excellent spoken and written English is essential. Those who have submitted but not yet received their Ph.D. will be appointed at Research Assistant level, to be amended to Research Associate once the Ph.D. has been awarded. The post will be based in the Core Lab, https://core-lab.io/ part of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, https://www.cst.cam.ac.uk/, in the University of Cambridge.
