An exciting opportunity has become available at the new CDC Hanley in Endoscopy for a House Keeper. The successful candidate would be able to carry out all aspects of House Keeping.
Endoscopy has a fantastic team culture, offers flexible working and encourages staff to develop within their role., The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the environment and catering services meet the needs and expectations of Patients, Visitors and the Ward team. The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He/She will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities and services in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance services, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. The post holder will monitor quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
We are looking for applicants with NHS experience with good communication and team working skills with a genuine interest in patient care.
