The school is currently recruiting for an individual needs assistant to support in their secondary division working 1:1 with pupils between the ages of 11-16 years. Children attending this setting have complex SEN needs that include SEMH. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
Experience working or volunteering with children, young people and/or adults
SEN experience- Desirable
GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting learners with severe and complex needs
Working with the teacher to support the learning objectives
This role is open to receiving applications over the next week. Within a week of the closing date, appropriate applicants will begin a three-stage interview process, after which shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the final stage of the interview process with appropriate school leadership.
