Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Business Analyst for UK and Ireland to work in a highly dynamic environment to join us in our Insight to Impact (I2I) team, preferably based at our offices in Slough.
About the role
You will be working as a dedicated business analyst in close collaboration with the Franchise Leadership Teams of Immunology, Epilepsy, and Rare Diseases. Setting you up for success, it is expected to stimulate out-of-the-box business thinking based on strong business insights and expertise ensuring holistic end-to-end insights generation.
Who you'll work with
You will partner with the I2I Area Lead, Franchise Heads, Ecosystem Leads, and Solution Leads with their respective team members to ensure strategic imperatives are implemented in the different patient ecosystems.
The goal of that position is that you establish an analytics business partnership, that means that you can enrich decision-making processes through analytics and insight generation for local business stakeholders from Medical, Access, and Commercial. This in areas of performance management, launch preparation, campaign analytics, data strategy, etc.
What you'll do:
1. Translate business needs into tangible achievable short to medium term analytics solution delivery and develop a good understanding in related markets of above-mentioned franchises in specific sub-populations of e.g Rheumatology, Dermatology, Osteoporosis, Epilepsy, Lennox Gastaut and Myasthenia Gravis.
2. Provide analytics & insights through connecting and analysing different data sources (sales, activity, market research, financials, field insights, etc).
3. Contribute to the development of sales forecasts and analyse key drivers of growth.
4. Support the performance management and business review meetings with analytics and insights, while driving the adoption of our centrally managed analytics solutions (Qlik).
5. Contribute to the implementation of a wide range of initiatives related to optimizing G2M strategies, including targeting, segmentation, field-force optimization, and campaign analytics.
6. Drive the articulation and implementation of the local data strategy in conjunction with the European team ensuring the analytics data strategy remains in tune with business needs enabling optimal insight creation, including the management of local data vendors.
Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience, and skills:
1. MSc in Biotechnology, Economics, Financials, or Medical related university degree.
2. Experience in consultancy, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare sector (+3-5 years).
3. Good understanding of the UK and Irish pharmaceutical G2M data.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good business acumen.
5. Excellent knowledge regarding analytical tools like Power BI or Excel.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
