Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment, supporting the continuity of manufacturing operations and ensuring the safety of production personnel.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain plant, equipment, and utilities across the site.
* Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Complete routine PPM work and document tasks accurately.
* Respond to reactive maintenance tasks efficiently.
* Utilize CMMS (SAP) for maintenance activities.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S methodology).
* Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide technical support during production breakdowns.
* Keep up to date with plant processes and technical advancements.
* Assist shift supervision teams with guidance and technical expertise.
* Act as an Authorised Person (AP) for emergency situations, including high voltage incidents.
Requirements
* Experience in a maintenance environment.
* Apprentice trained or equivalent in an Electrical engineering discipline.
* Competency in both electrical and mechanical tasks.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematic instructions.
* Working knowledge of PLCs such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.
* Ideally you will have a High Voltage qualification.
