CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor.
Working alongside 3M, one of our Manufacturing clients in Skelmersdale, the Site Operations Lead will have responsibility for the management of an FM team, Preferred Suppliers, Vendors, Health and Safety, Environmental, and company procedures related to general legislation, manufacturing, and client requirements. This includes ensuring adherence to budgetary costs and customer service standards.
Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure the fabric of the building, both externally and internally, is maintained and serviced to a high standard in accordance with the management contract and agreed budgets.
2. Responsible for all health and safety compliance onsite, ensuring all records are in eLogbooks, client safety management, issuing Permits, reviewing Risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
3. Ensure SAP is regularly updated and monitored in accordance with all Health and Safety requirements.
4. Oversee third party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided in accordance with the agreed contract. Carry out performance reviews and feedback to the supply chain.
5. Preparation, control, and monitoring of the service agreement in accordance with the client's budgetary agreement.
6. Regular monitoring of key performance indicators and taking remedial action as applicable to ensure the required standards are maintained and improved for the full range of buildings.
7. Manage and lead teams - performance management, engagement, toolbox talks, training.
8. Audit services - carry out assessments from the customer's perspective.
9. Manage reactive/additional FM works onsite with service providers/sub-contractors.
10. Ensure delivery of CBRE initiatives.
11. Compile and maintain all required management information/records relating to company, health and safety, and other related records, including asset register and emergency plans.
12. Develop and maintain excellent relationships, ensuring clients receive the highest standards of service and attend client meetings as applicable.
13. Proactively manage risk and deal with issues onsite.
14. Manage major work programmes on site, acting as the liaison point for all parties involved.
15. Attend central CBRE contract meetings and produce management reports as needed.
16. Ensure services are in line with client policies and ready for audits.
17. Monitor FM works onsite and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors.
18. Manage call-out Rota and Business Continuity Plan call out.
19. Any other duties as in accordance with the needs of the business.
Qualifications needed:
1. Previous facilities management experience with manufacturing experience, including line management responsibility for company personnel and contractors.
2. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
3. IT literate, with an understanding and experience of industry-specific IT applications.
4. High degree of knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, environmental protection requirements, and ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
5. Analytical skills.
6. Ability to work within a team and on own initiative in a pressurised environment with excellent organisational and planning skills.
7. BIFM qualification desirable.
8. Lean/Six Sigma/Project skills desirable.
