Consultant in Clinical Oncology Head & Neck and Thyroid Cancer
Applicants are invited to apply for a substantive Consultant position in Clinical Oncology, with a special interest in Head & Neck and Thyroid cancer to join our established Oncology team. This is a substantive post and is based on a full-time contract at the Royal Devon University Hospital. Experience of practice within radioiodine services is desirable. The post holders should have a CCT in Clinical Oncology or be within 6 months of CCT at the point of interview.

There are opportunities for teaching and research opportunities with Exeter Medical School and University, and a general interest in clinical research is desirable for all posts advertised as the post holder will be expected to recruit to the Trust NCRI and Commercial study portfolios. We are part of the Peninsula Clinical and Medical Oncology training programmes as well as taking IMT trainees within the organisation.
Applicants must be registered medical practitioners and either be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of completion of specialist training at the date of interview.
