Job Description
The Customer Services Executive provides essential support for the marketing, sales and operational delivery of our summer schools, hosted on the campuses of the world’s leading universities. This is a great opportunity for a confident, articulate professional with excellent communication skills.
We are seeking a customer-oriented problem solver with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and a drive to deliver consistently excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding promptly, professionally and thoroughly to customer enquiries across multiple channels (phone, email, messaging).
* Collecting and collating key information required to successfully deliver our summer courses.
* Maintaining an in-depth understanding of our courses, services, processes and policies to provide accurate information and support.
* Recording customer interactions, transactions and feedback accurately using internal systems.
* Supporting the Admissions team with bookings and sales queries and working closely with other teams to ensure all queries are effectively resolved and students are safe, happy and learning.
* Upholding high standards of customer service, in line with Oxford Royale's policies and best practices.
Key Requirements
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving customer concerns.
* Demonstrated passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive experiences.
* Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during peak periods.
* Familiarity with customer service software and proficiency with standard office systems tools.
* Ability to process information accurately, manage documentation and track customer requests.
* Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Patience and resilience in handling challenging situations.
Desirable Experience
* Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
* Experience working with international clients or in a multicultural environment.
* Previous experience in a customer service role.
* Experience with CRM tools, ideally Hubspot.
* Knowledge of the summer school market.
* Additional language proficiency is an advantage.
Position Details
* Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week, over 5 days). Flexibility required, including some evenings and weekends.
* Contract: Fixed-term until August 2025.
* Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum (pro-rata), dependent on experience.
* Location: Based at our Oxford office (OX4), with hybrid working options available upon agreement with HR.
* Holiday Entitlement: 32 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
* Reporting: to the Head of Systems and Processes.
