The Governors are looking to appoint a highly effective, compassionate Assistant Learning Mentor to start as soon as possible. We are looking for an individual who has the passion and dedication to support children to achieve their full potential through developing self-regulation strategies, positive learning behaviours, healthy relationships and good attendance. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting children with challenging behaviour and/or disadvantaged circumstances. Experience in working with children with complex learning needs and SEND will be desirable for this position. A knowledge and understanding of nurture principles, attachment and trauma issues, behaviour management strategies and other social, emotional and mental health needs is vital. Experience of delivering core subjects, with an adaptive and tailored approach to small groups of children is also desirable. The successful applicant will initially work in our Junior School (Ages 7-11) however the flexibility to work in any primary key stage is desirable. The successful applicant will be part of our excellent inclusion team and they will be expected to support the learning of individuals or groups of pupils across all subjects. The successful applicant will hold an appropriate NVQ 2 qualification or equivalent.
