Learning Support Assistant Location: Kidderminster Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm) Contract: Temporary (opportunities to go permanent) Weekly Salary: £425 to £450 Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a new SEN School in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about education and committed to supporting the learning and development of children with additional needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment. Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities. Encourage and promote independent learning and confidence in pupils. Support students’ social and emotional development, fostering a nurturing atmosphere. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to monitor and report on student progress. Help maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey. Experience in a similar role or a strong desire to develop in this field (previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent (desirable).
