Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager will have sole responsibility for leading the attraction, assessment and delivery of candidates across the whole business. The role will be roughly 70% recruitment focused with 30% being on continuous improvement strategy. This can be in the form of EVP projects, Recruitment Technology adaptation, early careers strategy etc.
We are looking for someone who can also partner effectively with hiring managers and utilize data to make informed hiring decisions. Reporting to leadership on key recruitment metrics and highlighting areas of opportunity.
You'll recruit across a wide range of functions and role levels from technical Engineer roles to Project Managers and Customer Service, from early careers to senior management.
You will influence on Recruitment plans at a UK level and have input to other HR projects where appropriate. This is a standalone role reporting into the Managing Director, perfect for someone with prior in-house experience who is looking to make their mark as the sole Recruitment lead within a business.
Responsibilities
1. Business partnering
o Partner with stakeholders to manage the internal and external talent acquisition process.
o Identify opportunities to optimise the talent acquisition process with a focus on a continuous improvement.
o Coach stakeholders on the talent acquisition process ensuring hiring manager capability and a great candidate experience.
o Own the apprenticeship programme from an internal and external perspective focusing on ensuring Global Fire and Security is an employer of choice and has a great brand with local schools & universities.
o Capture and present recruitment analytics in order to provide stakeholders with a dashboard view and drive acquisition strategy. Manage the budget in order to deliver the talent acquisition annual operating plan.
2. Candidate Experience
o Receive, review and qualify all candidates focusing on quality and candidate experience.
o Manage all communications including interview booking and testing processes with candidates and suppliers.
o Deliver a world-class candidate experience during all touch points with candidates that will promote Global Fire and Security as an employer of choice.
o Utilise headhunting tools to connect with prospective candidates for future and current opportunities.
3. Projects
o Implementation of ATS solution, with continuous improvement mindset.
o Explore innovative routes to market.
o Manage supplier relationships and ensure we are optimising our partnerships.
o Upskill hiring managers in best practice selection techniques and tools.
What experience you will have
1. Proven experience of managing a recruitment process within a fast-paced environment both in-house and agency.
2. Proven experience of driving a direct hiring model with extensive knowledge of the range of routes to market and an inquisitive mindset around future methods.
3. Experience recruiting engineering individuals will be a big advantage for any prospective candidates.
4. Proven experience of managing and influencing stakeholders up to a senior level.
5. Experience in leading or participating in EVP and Employer brand activities and projects.
6. Demonstrable experience of project management across multiple disciplines or functions.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
