The role
The role holder will lead our marketing programmes to deliver our ambitious growth plans for Bupa’s Specialist Business products (Dental Insurance, Bupa Well+ and Health Cash Plans) across B2B audiences.
Managing our centre of marketing expertise for Specialist Business, they will bring together client and market insights, a robust understanding of the Bupa Value Proposition for Dental Insurance, Bupa Well+ and Health Cash Plans and our commercial objectives to build a compelling marketing strategy. They will then build innovative and effective campaigns to deliver our acquisition goals, a measurable impact on our brand health and improved retention and cross-sell performance.
A collaborative approach is critical to this role as it will be a central point of coordination to align our Bupa Dental Clinics marketing with UKI to create an integrated client-focused plan.
You’ll help us make health happen by
* Working in collaboration with the Marketing Planning function, managing the development & delivery of the Specialist Business marketing plan for Bupa Dental Insurance, Bupa Well+ and Health Cash Plans.
* Owning a marketing budget to deliver the Specialist Business AOP, delivering ongoing optimisations and reduced CPL/CPS metrics and focusing on ROI.
* Working closely with the Consumer and other B2B marketing teams to develop tailored marketing lead generation strategy across all marketing channels, and across multiple stakeholders (internal digital teams and external media agency).
* Being a natural point of coordination of Specialist Business messaging into our segment plans for B2B across the MU, notably Clinics and Bupa Global, to ensure there is cohesion of messaging from Bupa to our audiences.
* Devising and developing a content strategy to drive awareness and preference of Specialist Business with a mix of dedicated activity and collaborative activities delivered through our B2B and Dental Clinics plans.
* Managing the delivery of marketing communications for Specialist Business within the context of the annual marketing plan and targets which underpin the UKI objective to be Number 1 for our customers & growth.
* Developing compelling and effective go-to market plans to launch and support engagement with key product and proposition launches.
* Using our marketing campaigns to differentiate and set Bupa apart from our competition to deliver long-term sustainable advantage in the health and wellbeing industry.
* Managing an extensive range of external agencies whilst safeguarding the standards of the Brand in the effective delivery of all communications.
* Managing a wide stakeholder map – up to Director level – across UKI
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
* Experience in a marketing and communications role ideally in a Financial Services organisation/s.
* Experience of marketing strategy development and implementation across the full marketing mix within a complex organisation.
* Experience of working in a matrix environment and collaborating to deliver results.
* Experience of developing integrated, audience-centric campaigns for ideally both B2C and B2B.
* Experience of commissioning and working with agencies.
* Experience of supporting the delivery of complex communications plans.
* Ability to lead and deliver multiple high-profile projects at pace without support.
* Ability to effectively oversee delivery work under tight deadlines, whilst simultaneously managing strategic projects independently.
* Strong organisational skills, project management and a keen attention to detail.
* Proven experience of building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Graduate level with relevant qualifications.
* Effective communicator and negotiator with experience of senior stakeholder engagement, persuasion, and negotiation.
* Track record of ‘treating customers fairly’ and delivering compliant sales within a regulatory environment is key.
* Resilience and confidence in own and Bupa’s ability to succeed.
* Acts ethically and honestly in all dealings with customers and colleagues building compliance, authenticity, and trust.
* Capable of representing Bupa at various external forums.
