We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our mental health team at HMP New Hall based in Wakefield.
HMP New Hall is a female adult and young offenders institution offering medium level of security with a population of 344 females.
The mental health team consists of a team lead, 3 x senior mental health nurse, 1 x learning disability nurse, 1 x mental health nurse, 1 healthcare assistant, 2 mental health practitioners.
The mental health team have an office based within the healthcare department; however, you will be mainly based on the prison wings conducting clinics, assessments, and dealing with case loads.
Hours
The site offers a 7 days service and rotas are done 1 month in advance.
* Monday - Friday: 8am - 6pm
* Weekends and Bank Holidays: 9am - 5pm
* 1 weekend in 5
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £42,094 - £47,466 per annum FTE - depending on experience.
