This is an extremely exciting International Director of Sales role (board level) for a midsized, growth stage, nutraceutical brand.

Currently generating £1.2–£2 million in international revenue, they are aiming for significant global expansion and looking for a dynamic International Director to drive this growth at scale.
More On the Role:
The International Director will be responsible for executing a high-impact global growth strategy, driving international sales expansion, and forming key partnerships to further establish the business as a dominant global player in the nutraceutical market. This is a senior leadership role, including a seat on the board, and requires a strategic, commercially driven leader with a deep understanding of nutraceutical markets, international regulatory landscapes, and a strong industry network to accelerate global expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and execute international expansion strategy to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
2. Maximize overseas sales and profitability, driving sustainable and scalable growth.
3. Identify, launch, and develop new international markets, ensuring rapid market entry and strong commercial performance.
4. Build and manage high-performing export sales teams focused on aggressive expansion.
5. Leverage an extensive industry network to secure partnerships that drive global brand recognition and revenue.
6. Ensure full compliance with international regulatory frameworks for product registration, labeling, and market entry.
7. Define and implement global pricing models, P&L management, and go-to-market strategies for profitability.
8. Work closely with the Founder/CEO and senior leadership team to align global growth strategies with long-term business goals.
9. Negotiate and oversee key distribution, retail, and e-commerce agreements to scale sales internationally.
10. Represent the business at global industry events, trade shows, and key international markets to strengthen brand positioning.
Key Requirements
1. 12-15+ years of senior leadership experience in international/export sales within the nutraceutical industry.
2. Proven ability to scale a global business and achieve transformational revenue growth.
3. Extensive knowledge of international regulatory compliance across major markets (EU, US, Asia, Middle East, etc.).
4. A strong network of industry contacts to drive immediate sales growth and global expansion.
5. Outstanding commercial acumen, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
6. Experience in P&L ownership, pricing models, and multi-market sales strategies.
7. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach—comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels.
8. Board-level experience or direct collaboration with C-suite executives.
9. Willingness to travel to key international markets to drive business expansion.
Compensation
Competitive base salary of up to £225,000 with performance-based bonus and commission structure. Equity options available for delivering growth results. Executive leadership role with a seat on the board.
