Job Title: Inspection Team Leader

Omega are working with a key provider of precision components and engineering solutions to the aerospace and defence, oil and gas, nuclear and commercial bronze sectors in their search for an Inspection Team Leader. The right Inspection Team Leader will be working alongside and supervising QC Inspectors and will be responsible for ensuring workflow through the department. A candidate with high competency and capable of training others to interpret engineering drawings for inspection purposes using CMM gauges will be required.
Key Responsibilities – Inspection Team Leader
1. Verification of subcontract operations specified in the Works Order Pack.
2. Identify and record non-conformances.
3. Ability to competently read and understand manufacturing drawing requirements including geometric tolerances.
4. Generate PPQP and FAI reports.
5. Preferably have CMM programming skills (Software – Aberlink).
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday – 07:30 to 16:00 (Friday – 07:00 to 13:00).
Qualifications & Requirements – Inspection Team Leader
1. Apprentice trained to a minimum of City & Guilds.
2. Highly competent and experienced gauge and CMM Inspector.
3. Competence and ability to lead a small team and provide workflow direction & priorities in the department.
