An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager has arisen within Digital and Information. The Senior Project Manager role will focus on delivery of Projects that sit within the Electronic Health Record programme. This includes, but is not restricted to, the management of discrete and/or linked projects throughout its lifecycle, along with change and adoption activities as directed by the Digital and Information Board. This post will influence and drive forward change which will deliver significant improvements in patient care through efficiencies and improved quality of information.
You will successfully develop and manage plans, risks and project resources. You will also manage, coordinate and deliver the projects allocated, utilising the Prince2TM project management methodology, to deliver outcomes to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the individual Project Plans. Stakeholder engagement will be key to effective delivery ensuring engagement in delivering the programme and anticipated benefits.
NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its Digital and Information Strategy 2019-2024 to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public. This post will act as a key advocate of this agenda.
You must be able to travel throughout Fife on occasion and sometimes across Scotland as required.
High levels of communication and project management skills are necessary to perform this role effectively.
