The role
Do you have a passion for fashion, proven experience in the retail sector and knowledge of designer brands? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Assistant Shop Manager at our Déjà Vu shop in Great Malvern.
This is a unique opportunity with our Déjà Vu shop operating differently from the traditional charity shop model, operating as a dress agency as well as stocking designer and high quality branded stock.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Managing our wonderful team of volunteers for the store and also recruiting and training new volunteers.
2. Managing stock levels, sorting and pricing donations.
3. Merchandising and cash and record keeping.
4. Responsible for the operation and administration of the dress agency.
5. Achieving set income targets and maximizing sales.
You will have responsibility to achieve set income targets and maximising sales, where you can make a real difference in contributing to the income generation for St Richard’s Hospice and raise the funds needed to provide care to patients and loved ones across Worcestershire.
About you
You will have significant experience in the retail sector, particularly in fashion, whilst previous experience in the charity sector would be an advantage. You will have a strong interest in fashion and have ongoing working knowledge of latest trends, brands and styling, with the ability to identify donations/items of high quality and value. Experience of leading and managing a team would be advantageous.
This is a standout opportunity to further develop your retail skill set, experience, and leadership skills in a supportive working environment. The position requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. This role may require supervision of volunteers under the age of 18.
