PVG Manager, UK QPPV - Home Based / Leeds - 9 months contract

Our client specializes in delivering medicines for patients with swallowing difficulties, across a range of therapeutic areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support the QPPV oversight on all PVG processes and all aspects of the client's Pharmacovigilance system, and deputize for the UKQPPV during periods of absence.
* Serve as the backup company contact for competent authorities in Member States and the Agency (EMA), and as the backup regulator contact for pharmacovigilance inspections.
* Ensure effective PV oversight and inspection readiness, collaborating with Company Regulatory Affairs to respect safety conditions or obligations as part of the Marketing Authorisation.
* Lead the QPPV office activities, mentor, support, and supervise the QPPV office for the completion of their tasks.
* Ensure quality assurance within PV according to legal requirements and company standards, maintaining compliance of the client's PVG system and overseeing processes, SOPs & metrics.
* Manage a team of 4, utilizing PV Managerial skills.
* Travel to the office 1-2 times per month.
Desirable Experience:
* Bachelor’s in sciences/pharmacy/nursing degree or related field.
* Strong, proven leadership capability.
* Strategic thinking, business acumen, and project management skills.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight timelines.
* Ability to manage own workload and that of the assigned team, interacting well in a team environment.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing tasks, plan ahead, and problem solve.
