Chief Data and Technology Officer

We are currently looking to recruit a Chief Data and Technology Officer. Reporting into our CEO you will be accountable for shaping and executing Clinical Partner’s data, technology and information strategy.
You will lead on overseeing the development, implementation and management of the IT infrastructure, digital initiatives and technology driven services. You will also be responsible for driving change with a focus on improvement, and delivering measurable success across our data, technology, and digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of our data and technological challenges, formulate innovative solutions, and guide the strategic direction of our tech initiatives. Develop the company’s strategy for using technological resources, aligned to business goals.
* Ensure that our technology roadmap aligns seamlessly with our long-term business objectives, fostering innovation and sustainability.
* Ensure effective governance models and roadmaps are in place to support risk management and infrastructure enhancements.
* Evaluate infrastructure needs, including in-house, cloud-hosted, and managed services, making informed decisions with a focus on security, resilience, and scalability.
* Lead the business on data integrity, implementing frameworks and processes to ensure the validity and accuracy of data across all operations.
Requirements:
* Requires significant, demonstrable experience in leading a technology function end to end.
* Experience in setting up the company’s technological strategy in a scale up company.
* Demonstrable experience in systems development in a commercial enterprise, with the ability to lead and guide technology teams effectively.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering company wide technological and organisational change, building commitment and support internally and externally.
* Experience working in a regulated environment.
* Proven track record of bringing technical and digital strategy to life, building operational best practice and competitive edge through innovation and iterative performance and risk management.
* Passionate about identifying and growing talent, and for providing the right environment and motivation across a diverse community.
