We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Job Purpose:
* Support Teaching and Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, adapting resources to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
* Lead Small Group Sessions: Plan and deliver focused interventions or activities to support pupils’ progress in line with curriculum objectives.
* Classroom Management: Supervise pupils during lessons or activities, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
* Mentor and Guide Pupils: Provide pastoral support to promote pupils’ personal development, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
* Administrative Support: Assist with lesson preparation, marking, record-keeping, and the organisation of classroom materials.
To be considered for the Higher-Level Teaching Assistant position in Newcastle, Northeast of England, you will be required to have the following:
* Recognised UK teaching qualifications or overseas equivalent.
* Successful experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
* Proven success in raising achievement as a subject leader or classroom practitioner.
* The ability to provide references for previous teaching experience in the UK.
* Right to work within the UK.
