The HICA Group has an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team at our head office as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.
Based within our head office, Hesslewood Office Park, you will report directly into the Finance Manager.
The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will ensure the accurate completion of the Group’s billing and debt collection processes. You will be responsible for your own group of customers, working closely with the Group’s Operational teams, wider finance team and our customers.
You will assist with a wide variety of tasks and procedures within the Finance Department, including:
* Sending reminder letters and account statements to customers
* Collating daily occupancy of the Carehomes
* Working towards deadlines to support with month end reporting
* Support in the wider finance team as required
* Data entry into the finance system
* Producing accurate sales invoices and producing account reconciliations
* Build relationships with customers
* Monitor accounts, chase debts and resolve queries to ensure HICA are paid in a timely manner
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
* Experience of working within a finance function
* Knowledge of Pegasus Opera finance system is desirable but not essential.
* Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work on their own
* Good Excel and Word skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* GCSE C or above in English and Maths
