If so, our client (marketing leaders in their sector) has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a Food Service Controller Purpose of the Role: As a Food Service Controller, you will be responsible for driving continuous growth by selling their products, managing key customer portfolios, and ensuring the profitability of their business. Key Responsibilities: Customer Management: Lead and manage an agreed portfolio of key customers, ensuring profitable sales and customer satisfaction. Sales Targets: Achieve turnover, profit, and volume/distribution targets through effective negotiation and strategic planning. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of sales managers across the UK & Ireland, ensuring growth strategies are implemented successfully. Strategic Planning: Build joint business plans with key customers and assist in developing long-term growth strategies. Financial Management: Manage the annual budget and lead negotiation of trading terms Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate forecasts and reports to the Line Manager and head office. Promotional Activity: Lead and manage promotional activities and analyse results to continuously improve performance. Coaching & Mentoring: Support your sales team by providing coaching to ensure they hit their targets and grow professionally. Key Competencies: Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Proven success in sales management and negotiation, particularly within the FMCG foodservice sector. A strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high standards. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills, including a good understanding of Excel and databases. Results driven, enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. What We’re Looking For: Excellent experience in FMCG National Wholesale foodservice. Higher education qualifications in sales, marketing, or related fields. Demonstrated success in managing and negotiating with wholesale & cash and carry groups. Ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver top performance. A self starter with a hands on approach to driving growth and maintaining customer relationships.
