We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Port Health Team as an Authorised Officer. Your role: The post holder will protect public and animal health at the border by supporting Suffolk Coastal Port Health Authority (SCPHA) in the undertaking and delivery of a range of statutory and discretionary services at Border Control Points (BCPs) where SCPHA have responsibility or contractual obligations. What you will need: Preferably the successful candidate will have previous experience of working in industries associated with food or import / export along with familiar experience of working in a service accredited under BS EN ISO 9001 and IIP.
