Hours per week: 4 hours per week days and times to be discussed at interview.
Hourly pay rate: Employed £12.00ph Self-Employed TBC
To be a companion and social support for an autistic young lady who wants to try some outings and experiences without her parents.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Eating and drinking assistance
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Helping with other activities including cooking and crafting
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Driving licence preferred but not essential.
Comfortable working with autistic people
Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
