The Job Description and Person Specification links will provide detailed information, and in summary, the successful candidates will need to hold a DCR or BSc Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) with current Membership to the Professional Body (HCPC) and significant clinical experience. People management experience is also essential as well as an understanding of requirements and standards such as IRMER, IRR17 and Infection Control. The department operates a shift system covering 7 days, working 12 hour shifts. The successful candidate has the option to take part in these and therefore needs to be able to work 3 or 4 shifts a week, either 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am. There is an attractive shift allowance given for working this. There is a commitment from the department to ongoing CPD and support additional post graduate training.
