My client seeks a personable, friendly, and caring Care Home Manager / Registered Manager with a stable background and strong knowledge of elderly care. Candidates should have a strong background in residential care home management, but experienced Deputy Managers will be considered. You will manage a team of experienced and professional care staff, ensuring that care is delivered excellently. This home has an excellent reputation for care in the local area, and the organisation is eager to maintain this standard. You will join a caring, compassionate organisation whose primary aim is to ensure a high standard of life for all service users. You will deliver person-centred care and oversee all safeguarding issues.
You will have full responsibility for the home, which will include hiring new staff, overseeing training, and home promotion. You will ensure compliance with CQC standards and liaise effectively with CQC Inspectors.
The successful candidate will be:
1. Strong experience as care home manager / care manager / residential home manager
2. Strong elderly care experience
3. Knowledge of quality standards
4. CQC legislation knowledge
5. Home promotion skills
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
7. Strong planning and organisational skills
8. Good communication skills
