Technical Support Advisory (Temp) Location: Bromborough Wage: £11.50 ph Duration: 3 months Imagery Centre of Excellence This is a brilliant opportunity to join Max Spielmann part of the Timpson Group - a fantastic family run business. About us and the role · Our business encourages a fun and buzzy atmosphere with energy and motivation being key. · This is a customer focused roll and will require you to talk directly to our customers that include our branches, engineers and the general public. · You will serve as the first point of contact to our customers that are seeking technical assistance by phone or email, so this role will require a high standard of customer service and a friendly approachable attitude. · You will support and assist branches and the general public that are using our software and hardware. This will include aiding with installing and configuring our hardware and software. · Your role will require you to speak to our customers directly to get to the root of their problem and following up to make sure issues are resolved or by using your initiative escalating where appropriate to the next level of support. This will mainly include troubleshooting remotely. · This role will need you to determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided to you by the customer. This will require you to have good listening skills. · We are looking for someone enthusiastic and who enjoys multitasking as you will need to identify hardware and software solution by diagnosing and repairing faults. · You will need to troubleshoot technical issues remotely so general desktop knowledge would be beneficial. · You will need to communicate with other departments throughout the business · You will support the rollout of new applications. · If you are keen to learn new skills, want to work as part of a team and take pride in your work, you are perfect for us. Skills desired · Experience with remote desktop applications. · Attention to detail and good problem solving skills. · Prior experience in a tech support or similar role. · Excellent verbal and communication skills · Troubleshooting skills · An overall positive and optimistic approach to problem solving · Ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently. · A desire to help people.
