Job summary Cromer Group Practice are pleased to be looking to recruit a prescribing nurse to join their team on a full-time basis, for 37.5 hours per week. This role will support the duty GP and be required to regularly undertake patient home and care home visits. Main duties of the job Undertaking health assessments, administering medication and treatments, and performing diagnostic tests. Providing and evaluating a range of health interventions to ensure that patients health and social care needs are met. Delivering a high standard of patient care, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in- depth theoretical knowledge base. Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate. As an independent prescriber: prescribing safe, effective and appropriate medication as defined by current legislative frame work. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, you will be supporting and caring for a diverse patient group. About us We are a supportive forward thinking GP training practice with a happy reliable workforce, providing care to approximately 12,500 patients. We have a strong emphasis on high quality patient care, education and personal development. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Be a registered general practice nurse (currently registered with the NMC). Hold a recognised ANP qualification at masters level. Able to work as an independent nurse prescriber. Experience Essential Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and be confident in leading in a variety of settings.
