Job Role: Electrical Installation Assessor Location: Hybrid – 50/50 split between home working and on-site (Greater London & South East) Salary: Up to £55,000 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: June 2025 Role & Client Overview: We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Electrical Installation Assessor to join a growing training provider delivering high-quality apprenticeships in the building services and construction sectors. You will work with a mix of internal and sub-contracted apprentices across the Greater London and South East regions, supporting them in their learning journey and helping them achieve their full potential. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering qualifications aligned to City & Guilds frameworks and will play a key role in preparing learners for End Point Assessment (EPA). Key Responsibilities: · Deliver apprenticeship training and assessment in Electrical Installation and Green/Low Carbon Technologies (up to Level 3). · Conduct remote and on-site observations and reviews. · Use OneFile to monitor, record and assess learner progress. · Support learners with 20% off-the-job training and ensure learning plans are met. · Plan and deliver high-quality learning and assessment that engages and motivates. · Work closely with the IQA to maintain quality standards and compliance with awarding bodies. · Set clear objectives and targets with learners during quarterly visits. · Work collaboratively with workplace mentors to track learner development. · Maintain and submit documentation to agreed deadlines. Key Requirements: · A recognised Assessor qualification (e.g. CAVA, A1, or willing to work towards). · Occupational competence in Electrical Installation. · A minimum of Level 4 in Electrical qualifications. · Recent experience of delivering apprenticeship programmes. · Familiarity with e-portfolios such as OneFile. · Excellent organisation and communication skills. · Confident using online tools for remote training and assessment. · Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
