A highly regarded Liverpool-based law firm is looking for a Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a diverse and high-quality caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role:
1. Handling a varied caseload of medical negligence claims, including birth injuries, spinal injuries, fatal claims, inquests, and misdiagnosis cases.
2. Conducting thorough investigations and gathering evidence to support client claims.
3. Providing clear, empathetic, and strategic legal advice to clients and their families.
4. Drafting key legal documents such as witness statements, expert instructions, and court applications.
5. Representing clients at court hearings and mediations.
6. Working closely with senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims.
7. Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management.
What We're Looking For:
1. 3+ years PQE, with at least 3 years' experience in medical negligence.
2. Ability to manage cases independently while keeping clients fully informed.
3. Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
4. Experience with advocacy, mediation, and court representation.
5. A proactive and team-focused approach, with strong organisational skills.
6. A commercial mindset and interest in developing the firm's presence in the regional market.
